What made you want to begin this after-school project?

I wanted to offer the kids a creative space to enjoy each other’s company and making music.

What does an average day look like in your after-school project?

Students come and we just jam on the ukuleles. Sometimes we sing students' favorite pop songs and sometimes we learn new strum/chord patterns from each other.

How do the students like the project so far?

Students seem to really be enjoying it. They love being creative and being able to interact with their peers.
